Commuting by bicycle during Vancouver's summer can be quite pleasant. Three times a week from June to October, I took this route from my home in the suburb of Burnaby, through Vancouver to Sierra Wireless, Inc. in the suburb of Richmond, where I was working on contract. The trip took about 40 to 45 minutes each way, a distance of some 13 km.
