Which vehicle is safer: a Porsche sports car or a huge Chevrolet SUV? The answer is not what you might expect:

[Small, nimble cars] are safe because they make their drivers feel unsafe. SUVs are unsafe because they make their drivers feel safe. That feeling of safety isn't the solution; it's the problem.
