National Geographic's Best Wildlife Photos page includes some wonderful desktop pictures. If you want some others, check out MacDesktops (you don't need a Mac, actually), which includes some of mine.

UPDATE November 13, 9:15:26 AM: If you came from my photo at MacDesktops today, here's a bonus desktop picture for you. (The largest version is only 1024x682 pixels, alas.)
