Salon's country music haiku contest yielded this delicious screed:
I've heard scalded cats
Make softer sweeter music
Than Tricia Yearwood
The others are good too, and from the liking-country music side, I pick this:
No more Mozart, mom.
Play some country or I'll keep
kicking 'til I'm born.
By the way, if you're like me and aren't too fond of country, but like blues, I recommend the Roadhouse Podcast. Here's a direct iTunes link.
If you've been listening to my podcast, you might notice that almost all of my original tracks are built on blues chord progressions and scales, even if they don't sound very bluesy. I think my next one may be a straight blues instrumental, though. Subscribe (iTunes or RSS) and you'll get it automatically when it's ready.
